Primary Science Quality Mark awarded to Meadowfield Primary School
Posted 27th May 2022
After an incredible amount of hard work from all teaching staff and especially Mr Evans, we found out this week that we have been awarded the PSQM!
This is a huge achievement and we are so proud that our hard work on science and developing our children as future scientists has paid off. We hope that we can build on this and continue encouraging our children to consider a science based career! We love learning science at Meadowfield and look forward to next year with more science investigation days! Again, a HUGE thank you to Mr Evans for his hard work on this project.
Primary Science Quality Mark (PSQM) is the only national award scheme to develop and celebrate the quality of science teaching and learning in primary schools. Schools achieve a PSQM through a year-long process of initial audit, followed by action and evidenced-based reflection.
Remember, if it was not for scientists, we would not have a vaccine for covid 19! Now, that is something worth thinking about…..
