For Parents/Carers
My primary role at Meadowfield is to ensure that our children are safe, happy and are listened to. I ensure that the Oasis is a calm, safe environment for children to be themselves, to express their concerns and to be heard. The child’s voice is important at Meadowfield.
I oversee the day to day running of the Oasis. I help the Pastoral team to support children and families within school, work with multidisciplinary agencies and signpost to the appropriate services.
I have links with extended services, working closely with the Cluster, Social Care, Health Professionals and the Police.
I contribute to appropriate support packages and run 1-1 sessions and groups for children who need extra support with their emotions, confidence and resilience.
I am the first point of contact for children who are new to Meadowfield and support with the transition to high school.
As a part of the School Leadership Team I can offer a holistic approach to discussions concerning our children, school as a whole and the community.
