Meadowfield School Council

Every year our pupils in Year 2 and above vote to elect two School Councillors from each class.

We meet once a week with Ms O’Gorman to think of ways we can help improve our school.

We have campaigned and held our elections and our new School Councillors have been appointed. See the photograph below to find out who we have in charge this year. We have already held two meetings and we will let you know what we get up to shortly. 

Last year we have:

• checked and approved the school’s Anti-Bullying Policy
• created free activity guides for the school holidays
• organised and run film nights and snack stalls to raise funds
• spoken to the Governors about our school on Governor Participation Day
• taken part in the Red Kite Learning Trust Youth Board

We will also post regularly on the school Facebook account to keep our community up to date with what we are doing.
