A visit from Sir Titus Salt and his daughter, Ada Salt

Mr Ellis and Mrs Briggs told me about some amazing visitors to their classrooms last week; their history learning was brought to life by a visit from Sir Titus Salt and his daughter, Ada Salt.
The children learnt how Sir Titus made his fortune and the reasons why he wanted to
help so many people. Ada showed the children Victorian clothing and hats and even some Victorian jewellery.
